Cayenne pepper tea

The cayenne pepper is a type of Capsicum annuum. It is a domesticated species of the plant genus Capsicum belonging to the family of Solanaceae.

Capsicum has its beginning since the beginning of civilizations. It is a part of human diet since 7500 BC. The genus Capsicum is one of the first plants being cultivated in the New World with beans.

Cayenne is a medicinal and nutritional herb. It is a very high source of Vitamins A and C, has the complete B complexes, and is very rich in organic calcium and potassium, which is one of the reasons it is good for the heart.

Extracts from Capsicum consist mainly of capsaicin although there are at least ten other capsaicinoid variants present. Capsaicin is a neuropeptide releasing agent selective for primary sensory peripheral neurons.

Cayenne pepper tea can be prepared with ground cayenne pepper, fresh lemon, and purified water. The tea is said to stimulate body digestive system, reduce risk of heart disease, and support weight loss.

Cayenne pepper increases blood circulation. It also draws the blood to where it is especially needed.

The health benefits of cayenne pepper include improvements in regard to digestion, immunity, heart diseases, dyspepsia, inflammation, headache, throat congestion, and blood circulation.

Cayenne can rebuild the tissue in the stomach and the peristaltic action in the intestines.
