Peppermint tea
The Mentha genus comprises an incredibly rich diversity of species, which originated in Europe but have now spread all over the world.
Peppermint tea is considered the queen of digestive herbs,. The peppermint tea is fresh domestic peppermint.
It is a general stimulant. A string cup of peppermint tea will act more powerfully on the system than any liquor stimulant, quickly diffusing itself though the system and bringing back to the body its natural warmth and glow without the usual tendency to relapse.
Peppermint is available in tea bags or as a loose tea. The tea may be sweetened with sugar or honey, or in the cases of diabetics and obese patients with saccharine or cyclamates.
Peppermint tea is a good substitute for caffeine. It will help alleviate headaches during caffeine withdrawal. It is delicious and strengthens heart muscle.
Peppermint tea aids in digestion after meals, and sipped cold, it can help to relieve nausea, headache, heartburn or gas.
Pregnant women should ingest no more than one or two cups daily of peppermint tea. Nursing mothers should avoid large amounts of mint, which can dry breast milk, although small amounts help treat colic.
