Green tea to lose weight

Green tea has health benefits that are not found in black tea. Green tea is an inexpensive weight loss aid, which is why several people are getting attracted to it.

Research conducted for the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition states that a green tea diet can speed up body metabolisms and oxidize fat without increasing heartbeat.

It was revealed that green tea cuts down weight by stimulating the body’s thermogenesis process by means of which energy is used and fat is oxidized.

Green tea functions by using up energy, up to four percent. Scientists have attributed this to the high level of catechin available in tea.

Green tea reduces ‘bad’ cholesterol count, while enhancing ‘good’ cholesterol count. As a result, those who drink green tea can substantially increase their consumption of high cholesterol food, yet maintain relatively low ‘bad’ cholesterol.

There are also dieters who prefer to drink green tea during meals. The tea is also known to suppress appetite that will sure dieters lose some weight. If no longer appetite to eat therefore there will be less food to eat.

There are many wonderful benefits of drinking green tea, but as far as weight loss goes, it simply helps the body burn fat faster and more efficiently.
