Cilantro is a very fast growing herb which can be grown just about anywhere. In general, the term coriander refers to the seeds while cilantro denotes the leaves.

Cilantro has been used as a digestive aid for many years, by many different cultures. It promotes gastric secretions and help stimulates the appetite.

Cilantro is one of the richest herbal sources for vitamin K. Cilantro also is a good sources of minerals like potassium, calcium, manganese, iron and magnesium.

As a tea, cilantro can be used to stop a toothache.

Cilantro tea is it is a mix of seeds and leaves. The leaves become more feathery as the plant gets bigger, therefore it needed to be harvest before this happens.
