Health benefits of cinnamon tea

Cinnamon is a versatile spice that destroys or prevents bacterial growth, sepsis, and putrefaction. It also is capable of destroying fungus.

A hot cup of sweet and exquisitely aromatic cinnamon tea is a great way to stimulate the circulation and cause sweating, thereby helping to resolve fevers, flu, and other infections.

Cinnamon tea might be useful for elderly bedridden patients with cold extremities, or in preparing such a patient for a recuperative walk, or casts removal from a fractured extremity.

It’s a fragrant cordial, useful for weakness of stomach and diarrhea, checking nausea and vomiting and used in other medicinal mixtures.

Chinese believes that tea warms the kidneys, and cures impotence, weak legs, and backache.

Mixed with cardamom and honey, cinnamon tea formed the basis of a hot drink which was very popular with British colonials in India, who added rum and lemon peel to make their favorite Anglo Indian punch.

Ground cinnamon in milk is an old-English country cure for diarrhea and dysentery.
